About

Knitting my ass off since 2004.

That is my subtitle, and it  pretty much says it all.

To develop the very short-handed info in the side bar… I’m 27. I knit. I crochet. I sew. I have too many knitting needles, too few crochet hooks and a sewing machine I’m using based solely on the information I remember from my Home Ec classes in second grade.

I’ve been knitting since my dear LJ friend Meredith sent me a box full of acrylic yarn and a pair of pink aluminum needles in the fall of 2004.

I have a hard time knitting for myself. I get frustrated if I don’t have time to knit. I’m known to be able to knit almost anywhere. Including while buying groceries, in the movie theater and while cooking. To mention a few.

I lived in Sweden until I was 22 years old. Then I found love on the good ole Internet, packed my bags and moved across the world. Now I live in Jacksonville, Florida, and will love you forever if you direct me to a Stitch n’ Bitch group that is actually active.

This is my (sadly neglected) knitblog. It came to life because, well, after knitting for a couple of years using other people’s patterns is starting to bore me. I always change around and tweak whatever I’m making to fit me perfectly. It makes me sad that the patterns are never used again after I’m finished with them, so here we go. I almost never update, because, well, if it isn’t school that’s kicking my ass I have lost the cord to my digital camera, and did I mention I’m really good at procrastinating, but at least I have a few patterns to share. And if you do, please send a picture!

Except for a disorder that makes me write four, five line long sentences I clearly also have a problem that makes me repeat the word “I” too many times.
